Hamburg is build in water on water suroundet by water (the city with the most bridges in the world- 2500 more then venice) I would build a water bridge- a system that would reach 2-3 meter over the river like for a war ship- that could stand on "rail railways tracks" or so. If you are there you roll it "over the river" and if you leave you roll it back on secure land to protect the mobile bridge from harm by trees or ice...running by. Frank
